On the night of May 27, 2022, two key culture centers at the Seaside Park of Liepāja will be reborn and filled with a new sound – the renovated open-air concert venue Pūt, vējiņi! and the place of the most legendary parties, Club Kursa. 

After an impressive event to mark the opening of Pūt, vējiņi!, attendees and all those who value good music are invited to continue the celebration at Kursa – this will be an opportunity to meet participants of the opening concert, sing along to well-known hits and enjoy the atmosphere of a feelgood dance party.

Club Kursa, located at Zvejnieku aleja 11, was opened in the late 1960s under the influential Bolshevik fishing kolkhoz. The building is one of the most prominent examples of Soviet modernist architecture, and it has retained its unique authentic interior and spirit. The words ‘grand’ and ‘remarkable’ describe not only Bolshevik, once the richest fishery in Latvia, but also the music selection and myriad of artists selected for the night. During the night, the stage will feature such heavyweights of rock and pop music as Ainārs Virga, Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Andris Ērglis, Uldis Marhilēvičs & friends, and The HOBOS will gain a new sound with the ever-energetic singer Ralfs Eilands. At midnight, the live music part will be opened by one of the currently most sought-after local bands – Carnival Youth.

Starting from 10 p.m., the mood will be set by DJs who started spinning records in the 1980s – producer and TV personality DJ Eduards Švāns and one of the most extravagant personas in Latvian music, DJ Roberts Gobziņš. Living encyclopedia of Latvian music and radio persona Jānis Šipkēvics Senior, who is closely connected with Liepāja, will share his memories with guests. 

WOOD STOCK cocktail bar and café BOROFFISH will be open during the event and offering refreshments.

For attendees aged 18 and up. Minors aged 12 and up may attend accompanied by an adult.

• There are two ticket tipes available: General admission and VIP tickets.
• VIP ticket holders will receive a wristband at the entrance and the following benefits: access to the VIP bar and tables, reserved and secure parking space in a gated area and the possibility to enter the event via the VIP entrance.
• Customers who have already purchased a general admission ticket have the option to purchase a VIP upgrade ticket, which is valid only when presented together with the general admission ticket. By presenting both tickets together, the visitor will receive a VIP wristband and will enjoy the same benefits as the VIP ticket.
• Ticket prices may increase closer to the event.
