The Latvian Speedway riders - Francis Gusts and Ernests Matjusonoks (from Daugavpils city Club) became European U19 Pairs Speedway Champions last year, which is a historic accomplishment for Latvian Speedway. Riders from 8 European countries competed for the European Individual Champion title and our rider - Francis Gusts became European Champion at his home Speedway Track here in Riga and gained a position within the World’s Speedway elite. Latvian riders – Francis Gusts and talented rider from Daugavpils – Ņikita Kaulinš will compete at the European Under 19 Pairs Speedway Championship in Riga again and we hope they will show us an outstanding performance and win the title again. Pairs Speedway Championship in Riga will host pairs of riders from Latvia, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Denmark, Germany, Poland and Sweden.
The European Under 19 Pairs Speedway Championship in Riga is an exciting and dynamic competition format for young riders and attracts spectators from all around the world. The Championship Meeting commences on July 16 at 15.00 o’clock.
