The Latvian Speedway riders - Francis Gusts and Ernests Matjusonoks (from Daugavpils city Club) became European U19 Pairs Speedway Champions this year, which is a historic accomplishment for Latvian Speedway. Riders from 8 European countries will compete for the title and we heartily believe both our riders - Francis Gusts and Ernests Matjusonoks will accomplish highest positions at the European U19 Individual Competition at their home Speedway Track here in Riga. Both Francis and Ernests just in few years have become a world class junior riders and serious competitors at the Speedway elite thanks to their hard sporting practice efforts. The FIM Europe Individual U19 Speedway Championship Final in Riga is an exciting and dynamic competition format for young riders and attracts spectators from all around the world. The Championship Meeting commences on August 7 at 16.00 o’clock.
