Please remember that silence is both a great opportunity and great challenge. Spending time in true silence is not that easy, particularly when it is your first time. However, if you continue to flood your senses with the same daily routines, for example, mindless Internet surfing, this time of solitude will be wasted.
Therefore, we would like to propose the following guidelines that will help you to reach a deeper understanding of yourself and provide a real break with the day to day. Structured activities and monastic surroundings can sometimes serve as a perfect environment for development and progress. 
 
Of course, every visitor to the House of silence can spend their time as they like, for example, by just relaxing.
 
For EUR 500 (including 12% VAT), you or someone you love can enjoy:
•    a true break in one of the most quiet and beautiful places in Latvia, 
•    forest, sea, wind, a warm, well-equipped room and meeting with a teacher,
•    three vegetarian meals a day in our well-equipped restaurant,
•    a carefully tailor-made week-long (6 nights) retreat, adapted to your needs. We will choose a practice group (e.g. silence, creative imagination, ritual cyclic, etc.) in consultation with you and formulate a daily routine before the retreat begins.
