In recent years, the trend of classical music concerts around the world has been to introduce the audience to composers of different eras, who for centuries have not been appreciated and recognized according to their talent and musical achievements due to different traditions and societal prejudices.

Through this concert program, violinist Magdalēna Geka and pianist Iveta Cālīte intend to introduce the Riga concert audience to the compositions of Latvian and European female composers of various genres, created over more than a century and a half, thus offering great stylistic and emotional diversity.

In cooperation with the wine bar “Garage”, the listeners will have the opportunity to enjoy some fine wine during the concert, purchasing it together with the ticket or on site before the event.
