On April 9, a special guest of the international jazz artists' contest Riga Jazz Stage 2022 – Grammy Award nominee, Thelonious Monk Award winner, composer, singer and drummer Jamison Ross from the USA will perform with his trio in Riga. Ross will give a brilliant demonstration of vocal and drumming skills together. 
He is a 34-year-old American jazzman who made his first appearance in the big jazz world as a talented drummer, winning the prestigious Thelonious Monk Competition in 2012, and released his great debut album Jamison, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2015. Jamison's music stands out with its sunshine and sincerity flowing over it.
