"Pannas Teātris" offers to the audience a show, stand-up comedy "MAČO" - a test of masculinity in two parts with Ainārs Ančevskis.

Performing research on male typology and looking at the types of men found in real life, the show draws the real Latvian macho as it see playwright Aiva Birbele. All this was done in consultation with real representatives of the male race - actor Ainārs Ančevskis and director Juris Rijnieks.How is it to be an old and real man? It seems that today it is much easier to be a man than before, but on the other hand - it is quite the opposite. Most men no longer have to break bones in peat bogs or die in war trenches as often as before. However, today's masculinity is seriously threatened by fine perfume products, luxurious city life and endless opportunities to show their masculine prowess and dexterity. In the days of grandfathers, the code of conduct specified exactly what to expect from a stronger sex. A firm handshake was a show of respect, while embracing another old man was the best way to get a blue eye or a broken rib. Nowadays, even professional rugby players embrace and cry, so thinking about what a real man is today, the author Aiva Birbele has looked at this issue through the notions of a woman.
